This notorious and intoxicating plant has many the folklore stories told about its bewitching scent and use in potions from cosmetics to the not-so-nice games played on the borderline of love and hate. But don't you worry dear readers, there is not a single drop of this deadly plant in our blend. What we have captured in our beautiful and dark belladonna is this - when you wear it, you will know that you are the only woman in the room. And so will everyone else.

Bayou Voodoo - Seasonal Highlight!
I have been drawn to the combination of sandalwood, vanilla and oakmoss recently. It has that sweet, woody and earthy aroma that I love so very much. I couldn't name it. I couldn't describe it. Then I ran across Jasmine's "Voodoo in the Bayou" girl. Suddenly, it hit me. That was exactly what this scent was all about. With the addition of a little Jasmine (of course) and a little Plumeria, we have created a deeply mysterious mix that is absolutely intoxicating in the bath. The fragrances mingle and change with the temperature of the water. We love it and know you will too.
Water color is a deep green. The brown speckles are the vanilla and nothing to worry about - they will change back to green when they hit the water.

Blackberry Brew - Seasonal Highlight!

Dryad - Seasonal Highlight!
Some of us have that connection to the woods. We visit the forest and feel its heart beat with magic and mystery. Although we walk into the woods alone, we are quickly surrounded by old friends. Time disappears as the conversation grows louder. Its the place where dreams are made and we hold the hand of legends.
All the mysterious and compelling fragrances of the deep woods. Base notes of sandalwood, balsam peru, and amber rightly place trees at the foundation of the forest. Mid notes of neroli, elemi, vetiver, and clary sage bring the aromas of wet earthy leafy greens into the base. Top notes of fig, jasmine, pomegranate and bergamot dance along the mix just as fruit and flowers skip in and out of sun-dappled forest floors.
Water is a vivid mossy deep green. Dryad has the tendency to develop brown speckles. These are the resins of the sandalwood and amber showing through and nothing to worry about. We think the way the woody resins morph the green speaks to the essence of the bath bomb. This does not affect the water's color - as soon as the bath bomb hits the water - it changes to a lovely mossy green.

Coral Sands - Summer Highlight!
Oh, to be sitting on a beach of coral sand watching the waves come in and wash small seashells over our feet. Delish!
We can't keep our noses out of this one and you might want to eat it so the naming was pretty easy. It's a unique blend for us. We knew we wanted to do something with Quince for spring. So we blended a lot of things and finally had the EUREKA! moment where we all said "That's Delish!". So it's a lot of Quince, a little Apple, a little Pear, a little grape and then to spice it up a bit we added some Caraway, Myrrh, and Ginger. But hey, that's just some spicy fruit right? Oh no, we have some secrets in there. We'll tell you a few of them, but not all. We do have a secret heart of floral apple blossom, grape leaves, musk and violets and that's all we are going to say about that. It truly is yummy, delightful while still being a little on the mysterious side for spring and summer.

It was one of the first blends here at FantasyBath, one of the simplest ones, and still one of my favorites. Do you ever wish you could find your own lamp with a personal genie? I do. And I know what my three wishes would be and I bet you do too. So sit back in your tub and think of a magical night where the air is dry and cool and the desert moon is high in the sky. Palm fronds sway with the slight breeze and the genie floats above waiting to grant your first wish.

It's a floral explosion!! All the best intoxicating florals that blend beautifully together. But we can't leave flowers alone (we like earth and spices and greeeeeeen stuff), so we've added some of the most mysterious herbacious and soft spice notes to give this floral blend a punch and a dry down that has to be experienced to be believed. We've taken the sweetness of Mountain Laurel, the headiness of Night Blooming Jasmine, and Gardenia, the softness of Lilac, Ylang Ylang, and Orange Flowers and blended them with the herbacious and Spicy Resin notes in Oakmoss, Iceland Moss, Yucca and Galbanum. This one is truly a knockout. It's like hiking through a overgrown tangle of flowers at their peak of bloom after a wild storm where you can pick up the notes of the earth and greenery and slightly spicy woods. I could write about this one forever.

Rainy Day
It's Raining. It's Cold. Nothing is going Right. Some days, it just isn't worth getting out of bed. So salvage what you can of a day like this. Grab a good book and take a nice long warm bath. The aroma of fresh clean air softened with the sweet scent of jasmine will lift your spirits and maybe even allow you to enjoy the rain. Just a bit anyway. It's good for the flowers, you know.

An intoxicating blend that starts with White Jasmine as a base. To begin the blend, we start with Clove Leaf, Sandalwood, Cedarwood and a bit of synthetic musk. To deepen it we added a touch of Indian Amber and Vetiver. To tickle the nose and lift the notes, we added Organic Ginger and Oman Frankincense. It is so exotic and so deeply intriguing that I think you will love it if you are a fan of the deep-spicy-oriental-earthy-non-patchouli scents. Naturally it has to be named Scheherazade because this is exactly what I envision she wore as she spun her tales of mystique and magic.

1Common sense must always prevail. Due to the moisturizing agents in these bath products, be cautious when entering and exiting the tub. We use essential oils in our fragrance blends, please read the ingredients carefully and ensure you are not sensitive to any of them. As with any lotion or soap product, if irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your physician.
 2What makes a bath bomb fizz? It is a chemical reaction that starts when sodium bicarbonate and citric acid meet water. The same way an alka seltzer works. When these two chemicals enter the water, a reaction takes place and produces sodium citrate (a salt) and releases carbon dioxide (a gas). The gas pushes air into the sodium lauyrl sulfoacetate (the non-detergent, non-sulfate foaming agent that is safe for children) and this produces the creamy bubbles. The essential oils, moisturizing oils and shea butter are then trapped within the bubbles and slowly release during the process of the bath. Chemistry? Maybe. But maybe it is simply magic.
